Catania Jones, Youth Treatment Specialist

Catania Jones, MA worked in the child welfare system, private sector, for over 11 years, serving in many capacities, including the director of services for the division of youth corrections-referred population, Family Preservation Specialist, Program Manager for non-residential and residential youth corrections programs. She has worked to develop programming for youth transitioning from secure placement.

Catania has worked with at-risk youth in a residential capacity through her experience as an intern at a multi-purpose state secure facility and at a group home for teenage boys. She served as a Mediation Trainer in local schools. For nine years she served in the domestic violence and sexual assault arena as safe house support staff. Her professional experience includes macro-level policy implementation and analysis for Colorado Medicaid. She's now with the Colorado Division of Youth Services as a Southern Region Program Manager.
