Richard Gentry, MJDA President - 30 years field experience

Richard is a Director of Ingham County Youth Center and the President of the Michigan Juvenile Detention Association. He has over 30 years field experience in the field.

As the Director of the Ingham County Youth Center, Mr. Gentry is responsible for the orientation and training of new and existing employees in effective supervision, evaluation, and administration, including behavior management techniques, case plans and goals. He is also responsible for management of the Youth Center, a 24-hour operation, and supervises all staff.
