Max Henning
Max Henning is a Research Fellow at the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California. He studies the physiological source of positive and negative valence in feeling under renowned neuroscientist and author Dr. Antonio Damasio. While he was an undergraduate at USC, Max founded Novus Think Tank, a nonprofit organization which translates cutting-edge research findings on the nature of human emotion, behavior and evolutionary psychology into organizational curricula and policy proposals aimed at realizing the purpose and self-agency of individuals in creating positive change.
What Max knows that matters to you: Feelings are the mental expression of biological processes of life regulation, and this fact offers an empowering perspective on the many challenges we face, individually and together.
